LAN Share
Install it on every computer that should send or receive. The newest version is first; every file has its SHA-256 checksum, so you can check that the download is exactly what we published.
Version history
Check a file: shasum -a 256 <file> (macOS), sha256sum <file> (Linux),
Get-FileHash <file> -Algorithm SHA256 or certutil -hashfile <file> SHA256 (Windows), and compare with the list.

Installing
macOS 15 or later. Open the DMG and drag LAN Share to Applications. It is signed by KV CACHE SIA and notarised by Apple.
Ubuntu 22.04 or later. sudo apt install ./lan-share_<version>_amd64.deb, then open LAN Share from the app grid.
With the ufw firewall on: sudo ufw allow 45821/tcp && sudo ufw allow 45821/udp.
The right-click menu in Files needs python3-nautilus (installed with the package unless recommends are off); run nautilus -q once to load it.
Windows 10 and 11. Unzip and run lanshare-gui.exe; Windows SmartScreen may ask: More info → Run anyway.
Allow LAN Share on private networks when Windows Firewall asks.
